Our take
I was looking for a compact futon for a guest room and this one fits the bill. The faux leather looks nice, but it's not as soft as real leather. The convertible mechanism is easy to use, turning into a flat sleeping surface. However, at 65 inches, it's too short for taller adults to sleep comfortably. The MDF frame feels a bit flimsy, and the foam mattress is thin. Assembly took about an hour. For the price, it's acceptable for occasional use, but not for daily sleeping.
